# Felo APIs Overview

Felo workflows under /v2, called with Felo Pro credits. Compare them with platform-balance APIs.

To pay for web search, web reading, X data, Chat or PPT with **platform balance**, use [Felo in Data API](https://openapi.felo.ai/docs/api-reference/openapi/overview.md). This page documents the existing `/v2` APIs, which use **Felo Pro credits**.

Felo APIs are first-party, workflow-level APIs for search, documents, presentations, web extraction, social search, and agent workflows. They use the same Felo API key as the rest of the platform, but are billed separately from model calls.

::: tip Felo Pro subscription credits
**Felo APIs currently accept Felo Pro subscription credits.** This applies to the first-party `/v2` APIs in this section: Felo Search, PPT Task, Mindmap, LiveDoc, Web Fetch, X Search, YouTube Subtitling, Landing Page, and SuperAgent.

This does **not** apply to Model API calls (`/api/v1`). Model calls require prepaid Felo API Platform service credits; Felo Pro subscription credits cannot be used for them.

## Authentication and first call

Create one Felo API key in [Console → API Keys](https://openapi.felo.ai/console/api-keys) and send it as a Bearer token.

A successful response includes an answer, query analysis, and cited web resources.

## Billing model

Felo Pro credits and API service credits are separate balances. A Felo Pro subscription does not automatically grant API service credits, and API service credits do not add Felo Pro subscription credits.
