I’ve been looking through the early material around Jev by @typesafeai One thing I haven’t seen much discussion about yet is how Jev could fit into a real business process workflow. Here’s my take: CAN — the workflow decides what actions are allowed now. SHOULD — Jev judges which permitted action makes the most sense. APPROVE — business policy or a person decides whether it may proceed. So instead of letting AI invent the next step: Workflow → CAN Jev → SHOULD Policy / Human → APPROVE The interesting part is that Jev never needs to own the state machine. Give it only the actions the workflow already permits, let it make the bounded judgment, and keep authority with the business process. To me, this feels like a very natural way to bring Jev into real operations: let AI judge, while the workflow stays in control.
