AI has a face now.

AI has a face now. Agents are working in the background. I want to understand what they’re doing with a glance. I built a demo using Masko’s animated mascots and state machines, JEV to interpret the agent’s activity and transcript, and GPT Live to talk with the mascot while it works. The state machine gives each animation a meaning: reading, coding, rendering, checking the result. JEV connects what the agent is doing to the right state. You see the work through the mascot’s behavior, with a few short spoken updates. Enough to follow what’s happening without reading every detail. The props can become part of the interface too. When the video is ready, the mascot holds out a film reel. Click it to watch the result. The character’s movements, expressions, and objects become how we see what the software is doing and tell it what to do next. The mascot becomes the interface.
